Drive-in / drive-through rack
High density for homogeneous product with few SKUs. It eliminates the aisles between blocks: the forklift enters the structure and pallets are stored in deep lanes.
- High-density storage
- Fewer aisles, more positions
- Ideal for homogeneous products
- Direct access to the first row
When does a drive-in make sense?
When you store large volumes of few SKUs, such as beverages, seasonal products or cold rooms, where every cubic meter counts.
How it works
The forklift enters the lane, guided by the floor rails.
The pallet is placed on the side rails, filling from the back to the front.
In drive-through, unloading is done from the opposite end, which allows FIFO rotation.
- 01 Frames with brackets
- 02 Pallet support rails
- 03 Floor guides
- 04 Top and rear bracing
- 05 Entry guards
- 06 Base plate and anchoring
Drive-in with a single access face and closed back, or Drive-through with access from both ends.

Final values are confirmed in each project's structural calculations.
| Capacity | Depends on rail profile and frame spacing |

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Drive-in and Drive-through?
In Drive-in, loading and unloading happen from the same side (LIFO). In Drive-through, loading is from one end and unloading from the other (FIFO).
What type of product is suitable?
Homogeneous product, with many pallets per SKU and little SKU variety.
Is it safe for the forklift to enter the rack?
Yes, with floor guides, entry guards and trained operators. The design takes the equipment dimensions into account.
Does it work in cold rooms?
Yes. It is one of the most widely used systems in cold storage because of the density it achieves.
